You were evaluated in the emergency department today for a cough. Your evaluation suggests you do not have any emergent etiology of your cough. [XXX] Please follow up with your primary care physician within two days. If you do not have a primary doctor, you can call your insurance company to find one. If you do not have insurance, you can look for one on this of local clinics or go to the finance/registration department for more assistance. Return to the Emergency Department if you experience worsening cough, fever, shortness of breath, recurrent vomiting, lethargy, or any other concerning symptoms.
