Discharge //

Your child has been evaluated in the emergency department today for [XXX] pain. Their evaluation, including physical exam and x-rays, were unremarkable. Please rest, ice, and elevate to control pain and inflammation. Please give your child tylenol/motrin as directed in the attached dosing instructions for discomfort. Please follow up with your pediatrician within one to two days. If you do not have a Pediatrician, you can walk into the pediatric clinic on the scheduled clinic days to establish a doctor for you child. Please follow up with a pediatric orthopedic surgeon in about 1 week. You can find a pediatric by follow up with a pediatrician. Return to the Emergency Department if your child experiences worsening pain, change of color in their [XXX], persistent fevers, recurrent vomiting, or any other concerning symptoms.
