MDM //

Patient presents with asymptomatic hypertension. No chest pain. Low suspicion for acute coronary syndrome. Not dissection. Not pulmonary embolism. Not hypoxic. Lungs clear, not pneumonia. No worse headache of life, not suspicion for ICH. No focal neuro sx. Not stroke. No emergent treatment indicated. Labs eval for end organ damage r/o ARF. BP improved in ED. Patient advised to follow up with their primary doctor, monitor her daily blood pressure, and if her blood pressure persistently stays elevated to see their doctor about changing her blood pressure medications.
