MDM //

This patient appears to be intoxicated. Doubt TCA ingestion or dangerous co-ingestions. There are no signs of trauma on exam, the patient is protecting her airway. Doubt hemorrhage, skull fracture, seizure, syncope. The patient will be placed on the monitor and observed closely. Labs will be done to assess for any metabolic abnormalities, and EKG will be done to assess for any cardiac abnormalities. The patient will be observed for sobriety.
