Discharge //

You have been evaluated in the emergency department today for palpitations. Your evaluation including an ECG did not show any emergent abnormalities at this time. Please follow up with your primary care doctor in 2-3 days. If you do not have a primary doctor, you can call your insurance company to find one. If you do not have insurance, you can look for one on this of local clinics or go to the finance/registration department for more assistance. Return to the ER immediately for persistent periods of very rapid heart rate that is associated with shortness of breath, worsening fatigue with trouble exercising, chest pain, dizziness, fainting, or for any other concerning symptoms.
