You have been evaluated in the emergency department today for genital symptoms. Your gonorrhea and chlamydia tests are still pending; you have been given treatment for these infections presumptively [XXX]. Please call to get your results in 2-3 days (or you will receive a call if positive). If the results are positive, it is very important to notify and treat your partner treated before prior contact. We do not check for HIV or hepatitis B or C here. Please go to a free clinic for this testing. Please take your prescribed antibiotics for the full course of the medication as directed. Please follow up with your primary care physician within two days. If you do not have a primary doctor, you can call your insurance company to find one. If you do not have insurance, you can look for one on this of local clinics or go to the finance/registration department for more assistance. Return to the Emergency Department if you experience fevers 100.4F or greater, worsening or uncontrolled pain, rashes, sores, vomiting, or for any other concerning symptoms.
