Patient comes in with nosebleed for ***. Patient is hemodynamically stable, does not report chest pain or lightheadedness. Doubt posterior bleed. *** Not on any blood thinners. Bleeding noted anteriorly from *** nares, small amount of blood in posterior oropharynx. Afrin and nasal clip applied, bleeding stopped. Patient observed for at least 30 minutes, no recurrent bleeding noted. Patient discharged with Afrin nasal spray and nose clip, with careful instructions regarding recurrent bleeding and also strict return precautions.
