Lumbar Puncture by Alexandra Dyer, MD: Patient consented, time out performed, sterilely prepped/draped, and anesthetized locally. Anesthesia: 1% lidocaine locally Patient placed in supine/sitting position [XXXX] Location: One interspace below the iliac crest Anesthesia: XXX cc lidocaine 1% Technique: 20 gauge needle with stylet for entry and removal of needle, Attempts = 1 Results: Clear CSF fluid Compl: No bleeding, numbness or weakness.
